Rovers differs from stationary landers, its mobility which allows him to study a much larger area than that of its landing site. It can be directed to an area of interest, sometimes with contrasting reliefs which does not allow safe landing like a crater or rocks. Beyond the obstacles present on the ground, his mobility is sometimes limited by climatic conditions or lack of sunlight. It is often equipped with solar panels that supply the energy required to travel during explorations.
